Welcome!

While Aquatic Resource Restoration Company is first and foremost an environmental construction company, we can now proudly say we are also a native nursery, a retail gardening center and a shop for local artisans to sell their wares. We have planned all of these things with the intention of becoming a community hub.

Since the establishment of the firm in 2001,

ARRC’s expanding staff of professional and support personnel provide a multitude of comprehensive aquatic resource restoration services. ARRC provides these services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region from our office located in New Freedom, PA.

 What We Do

Environmental Construction

Providing turnkey design and construction allows ARRC to deliver cost effective and timely services to our clients.

Native Nursery

ARRC has a well-established native plant nursery featuring both a greenhouse, and outdoor areas.  Additionally, ARRC has a robust seed collection program.

The Farm

The Farm at ARRC is Aquatic Resource’s retail location, also home of our Ladybug Station, a small barn-turned-shop housing local artisan works for sale.

ARRC Now Has Two Locations

for Your Convenience!

The Farm, our retail space & office headquarters, which caters to plant lovers, gardeners and landscapers of all kinds, located in New Freedom, PA. Additionally, the Farm serves as a meeting location and provides office space for several of our employees.

Our second location is our Native Nursery on Bonnair Road in Glen Rock, PA which provides ideal conditions for propagating and growing plants native to the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Moving Forward…

The Ladybug Station

The small barn on The Farm will soon be transformed into a proper shop space. In the meantime, it is stocked with items from local artisans. Items range from ceramics to handmade hair accessories, wreaths and other home decor items. We will also soon be stocking baked goods and local eggs. #shopsmallbusiness

The Hayloft

The second level of our barn, above the Ladybug Station, will be renovated as well so that it becomes usable space that we are calling The Hayloft. This space will be utilized as a classroom, a lounge area for the non-shoppers, and as a gathering space that will be rentable. Essentially, this space will be community space.

The Garden Walk

Right now, The Farm at ARRC has outlines for at least 12 planned gardens that will ring the perimeter of our property. Those presentation gardens will become The Garden Walk. You will be able to wander the walk at your leisure during regular open hours at The Farm. Or, you can use a presentation garden as the blueprint for your own garden at home. We will also be scheduling educational, guided walks where the guide will speak to the origins and content of each garden.
